Madeleine is a technology-focused executive with extensive experience leading complex technical programs across the full spectrum of people, technology, and transformation in large-scale multi commodity mining and defence organisations. She specialises in technical program governance, functional safety, digital and autonomous technology — bringing rigorous structure to fast-moving environments while keeping human-centred business improvement and change management at the heart of every solution. A trusted translator between technical teams and senior leadership, Madeleine turns ambiguity into clear strategy and delivers the operational frameworks that make innovation stick. She founded The Yes Collaborative to give organisations direct access to that same executive-level expertise when navigating their most critical technology and transformation challenges.
Janaki Gunawardhana - Technology Operations, Automation & OT/IT Integration
A senior technology operations leader with over 20 years of experience across Australian mining, asset-intensive industry, and leading IT service providers in Sri Lanka. As a senior leader at a Tier 1 multi-commodity global miner she has run global 24/7 operations across 680+ sites and 60,000+ users, owned technology portfolios above $80M a year, and led a multi-hundred-million-dollar network consolidation end to end. She specialises in the operational moments where reliability, automation and OT/IT integration directly affect production, safety and cost — treating them as operating decisions rather than IT decisions. She stood up a larger scale global Technology Operations Centre and its IT Automation Centre of Excellence, delivering 200+ automation use cases for $7M+ in annual savings, and governed OT/IT boundary protections across 14 mines, two ports and rail networks in the Pilbara. A trusted advisor to executive and technology teams, Janaki brings the operator's view to technology and the technology view to operators. She is completing her AICD Company Directors Course, serves as Board Secretary for Women in Technology WA, and is a director of AxionCore Technologies. She partners through The Yes Collaborative to give organisations direct access to that same operational, technical and governance expertise when navigating their most critical technology and transformation challenges.
